Oral Sedation

Oral sedation is also called as pill sedation that is used to help patients calm down and control from the fear and anxiety during dental procedures. Unlike nitrous oxide sedation and intravenous (IV) sedation, patients take the sedative in the form of a pill in an hour or so before leading up to the appointment.

It would be advantages to the patients who are afraid of needles, fear of dental procedures. It is safe. Though they feel drowsy can still awake and respond to dentist instructions.
