TMJ is commonly called Temporomandibular joint and muscle. The pain and dysfunction located at the intersection of the lower jaw (mandible) and lower part of the skull (temporal bone) is called TMJ disorder. The dentists will help you reduce your discomfort, lessen your symptoms, and help prevent worsening damage and pain. It can be treated by the use of some oral appliances or any other treatments based on the scope of the disorder.
